Rural Clinical Services:
In 2020 when I have to use the health care facilities for my mom, I found how difficult to reach and use a decent health care facilities for the families living in rural area’s. With almost 70% of the Pakistani population living in underserved rural areas, where there is lack of medical personnel, none or inadequate healthcare facilities, high cost of treatments and very limited access to the good hospitals.
Barriers to Health Promotion and Disease Prevention in Rural
- Higher poverty rates, which can make it difficult for participants to pay for services or programs.
- Cultural and social norms surrounding health behaviors.
- Low health literacy levels and incomplete perceptions of health
